Scott Bergman’s contemporary take on traditional tarot speaks to modern spiritual seekers. I received this deck as a birthday gift last year. Though the cover initially seemed gimmicky, it has become a delightful addition to my collection. I originally bought it for an expecting friend years before having my own little one. The deck is thoughtfully divided into three sections—pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I like to pull additional oracle cards and tarot cards when I use this particular deck as a means of gaining additional insights into the moon and astrological meanings.

A powerful series by Juliet Diaz, Lorriane Anderson, Tijana Lukovic, and Giada Rose that connects you with natural cycles. I absolutely adore this collection of decks. I currently own two in the series and plan to collect them all. Each deck draws inspiration from seasonal events like Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Winter Equinox, and more. While these oracle cards are especially powerful during their corresponding seasons, I’ve found them invaluable year-round, using them whenever I feel drawn to their unique energies.
13. Queer Tarot
Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham’s inclusive deck celebrates diversity in spirituality. I purchased this tarot deck in 2022 during a trip to Palm Springs. I immediately fell in love with the artwork and colors. This deck follows many of the same visuals as the Rider Waite Smith deck but offers a more inclusive and diverse representation in its imagery. It brings a lightness to readings while still delivering impactful messages.
14. Star Spinner Tarot
Trungles brings fresh perspective to classic tarot through inclusive, diverse artwork perfect for modern practitioners. This has become one of my favorite decks, consistently finding its way into my rotation—whether I’m doing readings for clients at events or for myself. Its visuals bring a richness that always delivers a powerful message.
15. The Rider Waite Smith Tarot Deck
Last but certainly not least, Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith’s classic deck remains a cornerstone of tarot practice, offering timeless wisdom. If you’re brand new to Tarot and interested in exploring it, I highly encourage you to start with this tarot deck to build your learning and reading foundation. While it may not be the most inclusive deck available, its rich history has set the foundation for all decks that followed.
